I’ve had a really great start to this semester. The first week has flown by, and today feels like the start of a new month (even though the month starts on Wednesday). I’ve been here forever, or at least it feels like it.
Senior year is going to be a lot more difficult than I thought. I knew it was going to be demanding, but this year, I’m not only balancing academics and school activities, but also applying to jobs, looking for apartments, and trying to figure out my life (aka GROWING UP). I think as long as I stay true to myself, and have the people there to support me, I’ll be fine.
I haven’t been dizzy in a while. It’s been wonderful to concentrate in class and enjoy the weekends without seeing things in a wave. I’ve been eating the healthy things in my fridge, but also indulging in the afternoon chocolate snack. I’m giving myself a break, since I am known for being hard on myself.
Stay turned for more. Senior year has just begun.

Today’s date is March 21st, 2011. It is officially SPRING, and I guess Boston has not gotten the memo. It is currently snowing. And about an hour ago, it was raining. Boston will not be able to make up its mind.
Monday has been treating me well so far. I honestly can’t complain (other than the weather)! I put clean sheets on my bed last night, which somehow gave me an amazing night of sleep. I woke up early to finish my romance novel reading for english, and checked emails. I met up with a close friend of mine from Student Government for coffee/tea at a small coffee shop, just to catch up, talk about the future of SGA, and really fill each other in on what we have missed outside of our academic lives. We rushed through the snow back to campus where I hung out with my roommate before she went to work. Which brings me here: sitting on my bed, editing a paper, answering emails, making my schedule for next semester, and planning a presentation for next week.
These aren’t usually how my Mondays go, but I can certain get use to it.
